<p>An elastic or inelastic waistband for e.g. men's underwear consists of an outer band and an inner band. The outer band is interwoven with the inner band at predetermined points. The outer waistband bears one or more sewn legends on those sections that are not interwoven with the inner waistband. also claimed is a suitable production finishing process in which the outer waistband material is embroidered or marked with a legend, prior to cutting to length and joining to the inner waistband by sewing action.</p> |
