The muffler (1) has an air supply line (2) radially extended from a housing (3) in which several resonator chambers (5) are formed. The individual resonator chambers are locked opposite the interior (7) of the air supply line with the use of a flexible material (8). The flexible material is provided in the form a thin polyethylene film. Fluid-filled cushions or air cushions are arranged and fixed in the resonator chambers. The resonator chambers formed, preferably, in circular shape.
