<p>PURPOSE:To maintain a nitrification fluidized bed and a denitrification fluidized bed stably for a long period of time by constituting the carriers of the denitrification fluidized bed provided to a water treatment device with particles having >=1 specific gravities and constituting the carriers of the denitrification fluidized bed with particles having <=1 specific gravities. CONSTITUTION:The carriers constituted of particles having >=1 specific gravities stuck with denitrifying germs are packed in a nitrifying tower 5, and the water to be treated contg. ammonia type nitrogen is passed to the lower part of the tower 5 through a mixing pipeline 4 etc., whereby a nitrification fluidized bed 6 is formed. The gaseous oxygen necessary for nitrification reaction is flowed in through a pipeline 3, and at the time when it passes the pipeline 4, it dissolves in the water to be treated and this water is supplied into the bed 6. The intermediate water contg. nitric acids etc. having undergone the nitrification reaction flows into the upper end part 14 of a denitrifying tower. In the denitrifying tower 10, the carriers consisting of particles having <=1 specific gravities stuck with denitrifying germs are packed to form a denitrification fluidized bed 11. The treated water is conducted from the lower end part of the tower 10 to the outside of the system through a treated water flow passage 12.</p> |
