PURPOSE:To avoid production of patching shadow surely, by eliminating the information of a patched shadow, through digital processing according to a given algorithm estimating the properties in advance specific to the patching shadow taken place in the copy. CONSTITUTION:The binary video information stored in the memory 4 is read out and fed to the microcomputer 5, and the density information of the video element judged as the patched, shadow in the memory 4 is suitably rewritten. The video element information in the memory 4 rewritten and that in the memory 2 in the same address are delivered to the AND gate 6 at the same time, and the noticed video element read out from the memory 4 is at white level, then the video information read out from the memory 2 is converted into white level. If the noticed video element is at black level, the video element information read out from the memory 2 passes through the gate 6 as it is to the plotter 7, where the recording of picture with good quality without patched shadow can be made. |
