A device for rectification of the drilling mud comprising a reservoir (1) with an inlet (2) and an outlet (3) for the drilling mud and, mounted inside the reservoir, an anode (4) and a cathode (5) connected to a direct current source (6), and scrubbers (7) for elimination from the anode (4) of the solid phase deposited thereon. The cathode (5) has a sieve plate construction and is connected kinematically with a rotation drive (8), whereas the anode (4) has the form of a cylinder fixed inside the reservoir (1) above the cathode (5), the scrubbers (7) being fixed to the internal surface of a hollow cylinder (9) which is made of a dielectric material, is placed coaxially in relation to the anode (4) and is firmly secured to the cathode (5).
