<p>PURPOSE:To use devices efficiently, by performing the control to make the translation operation of language ROMs, where translation is impossible, ineffective to find immediately even forgetting of installation of plug-in modules and erroneous installation of plug-in modules. CONSTITUTION:The language code is language ROM II is read into its input buffer MD1 (not shown in the figure), and the language code in language ROM III is read into its input buffer MD2. When ROM II and ROM III are not inserted, the error is displayed. When only ROM III is inserted, incorporated ROM I and ROM III are set as memories for the mother tongue and the foreign language respectively if upper 4 bits of buffer MD2 are zero. Thus, the translation key is depressed to perform the translation processing after setting a desired language; and if translation is impossible, the error is displayed, and the control is performed to make the translation operation ineffective.</p> |
