PURPOSE:To attain the location with small area even with the use of resistors having 5% the standard deviation, by inserting the element for extending base potential difference between the emitter and the constant current source of an oscillator transistor or between the base and the base potential setting means. CONSTITUTION:The emitter of differential transistors 1, 2 is connected via diodes 12, 13. The gain G' of the differential amplifier is expressed as equation (I). Since G' is at 6dB for VB2-VB1 when G' is at >=0 dB, VB2-VV1=273mv by obtaining VB2-VB1 from equation II when IE1=0.0052IE and the range of possible oscillation can be extended by about 120mv than conventional circuits. Experimentally, the range can be extended to + or -200mv. Thus, the range of possible oscillation is close to the deviation of + or -212mv by 5% resistors, resulting that most of assemblies are nondefective goods. Further, the extension of the dynamic range can initiate the oscillation stably even with the deviation of the set bias voltage more or less. |
