<p>An apparatus and a method for controlling the humidity of a dehumidifier are provided to stably perform a humidity control by recognizing a relative humidity and an absolute humidity at a time point at which a defrosting operation is started. A dehumidifier includes a humidity sensor for detecting humidity, a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature, an indoor fan, and a heater. The dehumidifier includes a key input section(100), a control section(300), and a display section(800). A user request instruction is input to the key input section. The control section performs a corresponding function according to the user request instruction input through the key input section. The control section calculates an absolute humidity according to the humidity and the temperature detected by the humidity sensor and the temperature sensor when the defrosting function is performed, to control the indoor fan and the heater. The display section displays the operation state according to a control signal of the control section.</p> |
