The two units are designed to plug together. One unit has a bolt and a securable bolt-activating device, and the other has a latch for bolt engagement, to prevent the units from being separated when coupled, in a lock, esp. for joining the ends of a securing cable. In the coupling position, the lock units (10,12) can be mutually twisted about a pivotal axis (A-A). The bolt latch (52) is located concentrically with this axis, so that in the locking position the bolt (34) can turn with them inside the latch. The cable ends (64,66) may enter the lock units in planes vertical to the axis, and be anchored in cable recesses (14,16). |
