PURPOSE:To cope with the abrupt change of a load, then adjust the electric power to the load with a fuel cell, and control the charging to a storage battery by adjusting the feed of the current to the load until the storage battery fed with the output current from the fuel cell copes with the abrupt change of the load of the fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:A fuel cell power generator is provided with a fuel cell 4 and a storage battery 8 fed with the current from this fuel cell 4 and is discharged toward the load 9 of the storage battery 8 when the load 9 is abruptly changed, and the discharged current is converted into AC by an inverter 11 to feed the electric power. While this power is fed, an integrator 20 responds considering the optimum delay time to follow the fluctuation of the load 9. The fuel cell 4 controls the load 9 according to the control thus followed, when the power feed to the load 9 reaches the steady state, the fuel cell 4 feeds the power to an auxiliary machine such as a raw material transfer pump 3 and the load 9, and the output of the fuel cell 4 is controlled. |
