PURPOSE:To enhance the coloring and fixing sensitivities and obtain a superior image by interposing specified middle layer between a basic substance generating layer contg. a Co(III) ammine complex, etc. and a coloring layer and overcoating a laminate film on the coloring layer to form 4-layer structure. CONSTITUTION:On support 1 basic substance generating layer 2 is formed contg. a Co (III) ammine or amine complex, a redox couple of polynuclear quinone absorbing light of 400-550nm wavelengths and a hydrogen donor, and a chelating agent coordinating to Co and showing slight absorption in the visible region. On layer 2 middle layer 3 made of water soluble resin or emulsion resin is laid, and on layer 3 coloring layer 4 is formed contg. the acidic salt of leucoaminotriarylmethane and a strong acid and hexaarylbiimidazole as a photo-oxidizing agent. By laminating polyvinylidenechloride film, etc. on layer 4, overcoat layer 5 is formed to manufacture a photosensitive and heat-sensitive recording member. Middle layer 3 prevents the deterioration of the member due to the mutual migration of components in layers 2, 4 during the the coating of layers 2, 4 and the storage of the member, and layer 5 prevents the evaporation of a base in fixing. Thus, the coloring and fixing sensitivities are enhanced. |
