The driven steerable motor vehicle wheel (17) with disc brake (2,12; 3,9) comprises a wheel bearing (13) whose rotatable inner race (11) is driven, whilst its outer race (1), or a component connected with it, is provided with recesses which form the cylinders for the brake-operating pistons (4). These recesses may be arranged on both faces of a radial flange portion of the outer race, whilst the driven inner race carries the two rotating discs (9,12) of the disc brake, secured via bolts (10). The outside disc (9) may be formed as a closed cover having projections radially outward of the brake surface, to which the wheel rim can be secured.
