<p>Rubber which is resistant to oil and has a Shore hardness of 95 is used for a three-part suction nozzle for cleaning machines, esp. delicate and valuable machines. The nozzle consists of a mouthpiece, rectangular in section with well-rounded corners, and which tapers back slightly to blend into a tubular fitting. A curved connecting piece fits into the tubular socket and attaches to the line from an industrial vaccum cleaner. Seen from the narrow side, the bottom lip of the nozzle is cut away and set back by about halft the depth of the nozzle. The elasticity of the nozzle and its shape, the depth of the breadth of which is as 1:6, prevent any scratching or more serious damage during the cleaning operation.</p> |
