PURPOSE:To recover the toner surely and make maintenance easier and image quality better with simple construction by disposing a residual toner scraping member to a photoreceptor and receiving the toner scraped thereby in a recovering vessel. CONSTITUTION:In a transfer roller 8, the residual toner sticks on a photoreceptor 4 when it makes direct rolling contact therewith. With the revolution of the roller 8, the toner opposes to a cleaning blade 24 and is scraped off. That toner falls as it is and accumulates in a recovering vessel 27. During falling of the toner, the toner is prevented from scattering to the outside by a casing 22. The vessel 27 consists of a transparent material to permit detection of the accumulating condition of the toner from the side of the body. |
