FIELD: rescue equipment, particularly adapted for people evacuation from high buildings in fire. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for people evacuation through building windows involves using self-erectable impact damping balls made of elastodeformed frames enveloped with resilient film. Balls are used to fill total area around burning building defined by installed barricade. People may leave the burning building through windows and land on the balls. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency due to possibility of several windows usage simultaneously for people escape. ^ 3 dwg
