<p>PURPOSE:To display a variable part on a display all the time and to make clear at any time a part where data should be inputted with a key in the state of the modification of words or phrases at the variable part when some words or phrases of a previously stored example sentence is changed and translated. CONSTITUTION:Display part 2 of the electronic translator is provided with a character display part, a language display part which displays with sumbols the native language and another language assigned at that time, and a various-symbol display part which displays various symbols showing set states, etc. To this display part 2, IC6 for display drive control is connected and to this IC6, one-chip microcomputer 8 is further connected via data bus 13 and address bus 12 to apply a key strobe signal from key matrix circuit 8 constituting a key input part. When some words and phrases of an example sentence previously stored in language ROMs 9- 11 are modified and translated, the variable place is displayed on the symbol display part of display part 2 all the time to recognize the key input place clearly at any time.</p> |
