PURPOSE:To satisfactorily maintain the flatness of a mask for a long period of time and to enable precise mask rubbing by extending the mask on a frame via a film body extended on the frame. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of a screen mesh (film body) 12 in the state of applying prescribed tension over the entire surface of the frame 1 is adhered by and adhesive agent and the mask 14 coated with the adhesive agent on the circumference is then adhered to the prescribed position of the screen mesh 12. The screen mesh in the part which is not the adhered part superposed on the mask 14 is removed by cutting or the like, by which the mask extending body is formed. the distribution of the tension by the screen mesh 12 is adequately set according to the pattern of cutouts 13 provided to the mask 14. The mask is thus pulled under the adequate tension from the entire circumference by the film body and the high flatness of the mask is accurately maintained for a long period of time at the time of using the mask for mask rubbing or the like, by which the exact projection diagram of the patterns cut out to the mask is applied to the work. |
