PURPOSE:To eliminate effectively unstableness due to speed saturation, by feeding the output of the integrator of a delta-modulating circuit back to the input terminal of a comparator in a position controller for the recording pen of a recorder. CONSTITUTION:Comparator 53 compares input reference signal f(t) with output signal f0(t); when f>f0, its output is in the 1st state and when f<=f0, its output is in the 2nd state. For this purpose, modulator 51 samples the output of comparator 53 at a prescribed frequency, and as outputs of the sampling points, positive and negative-polarity rectangular-wave voltages having unit amplitude are outputted for a constant time according to the 1st and 2nd states. Then, the output of this modulator 51 is integrated 52 and the resulting output signal is fed back to the input terminal of comparator 53 as a substitute for a reference signal or error signal. Consequently, unstableness due to speed saturation is effectively eliminated by the position controller only by adding a simple circuit. |
