PURPOSE:To obtain a receptor having a connecting force with activated vitamin D inexpensively, in a large quantity and in a stable manner by extracting and refining the same from the embryo or duodenum of the fertilized egg of poultry several days before or immediately after hatching thereof. CONSTITUTION:The fertilized egg is not limited especially and those of a hen, a duck, a goose, a turkey, a quail and the like may be taken as an object. The condition of hatching of the fertilized egg may be selected according to an ordinary rule, and the temperature of about 37-38 deg.C and about 39 deg.C and the relative humidity of about 60% and about 60% are adopted as condtions in the case of the hen and the quail, respectively. In the case of the hen, the embryo on 17th-21st day after fertilization or the duodenum of a chick is used and the activity of connection with the activated vitamin D of the receptor reaches a peak 19-20 days after the fertilization. The activity of connection with the activation vitamin D is weal in less than 17 days after the fertilization, while it is decreased after hatching. In the case of the duck, the embryo on 25th-28th day after the fertilization or the duodenum of the chick thereof is made to be the object of extraction of the receptor. |
