Boot extender for saloon car - has streamlined closed container on grid on boot lid

The vehicle boot extender has a streamlined container (11) mounted on the rear boot lid on a grid (17,18) and lifting with the boot lid for access to the boot. The grid has sliding mountings to prevent the front edge of the container from being pushed into the rear windscreen, with the top edge of the car roof fitted with a cowl (16) to form a streamlined shape with the container. The container increases the luggage capacity without altering the vehicle and without restricting access to the boot. The container is streamlined and does not add to the drag of the car. It is plastic moulded in two sections.
