<p>The key (5), or probe is heated by an open flame (6) from a flame dispenser such as lighter or candle and fixed by a retainer (3) clamped to this in the form of a ring, sleeve or magnet, in provision for de-icing locks, esp. on motor vehicles or ski packs. The flame dispenser and key retainer, can be a hanger on the key ring (9), and located in the key pouch (8). The pouch can be fitted with a key swivelling about an axis, and clamped in position in relation to the flame. The sleeve can have a removable probe, and can itself be fitted with magnets.</p> |
