<p>The hinged flap, covering a ring mounting when closed, an opening device, and a damped device, in the form of draw cable, or similar. to limit the flap's opening angle, are provided in a system for drawing off smoke and heat, such as those opening automatically in the event of fire. The ring mounting (1) has a support (5) swinging on it, with a pendulum motion, to support the cable pull piece, which is fastened to it, during opening. In the flap's (2) closed position, the support can swivel into the ring mounting aperture. The support may be held on the hinge side (11) of the ring while the cable had a damping spring (6) integrated in it. This permits control of opening angles up to 180 degrees.</p> |
