In vehicles with speed regulator installations the brake switch (1) can be used to cancel the regulator setting when the brakes are applied. The necessity then arises of ensuring, as far as possible, that the lead (9) associated with the regulator does not become detached from the brake switch. One way of achieving the desired goal is to make two connector sections, one for the regulator (50) and one for the brake warning light (53,2). The brake switch (1) connector tongues each have two extensions (42,43; 40,41). The regulator connector is assembled first, and the longer tongues project through its housing. The brake light connector is then pushed onto the regulator connector housing. The two housings are shaped so that they cannot be assembled incorrectly on the brake switch.
|
