Lightweight antifriction roller bearing - has corresponding conical surfaces on threaded inner ring and axis for two races

The bearing is intended esp. for wheels, cranks etc. It consists of a bearing sleeve with two roller races, and an internal axis which is born via two rows of rolls. One axis end has a fastening unit, while the other threaded end has an adjustable threaded inner ring. The ring (8) has a slightly conical surface (11) which forms an axial extension of its thread (9). The shaft has a similar conical surface (11) also forming an axial extension of its thread (10), and coacting with the conical ring surface. The conical surfaces are inclined at an angle alpha which is self-locking.
