PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a device by eliminating the need for a control by storing previously and reading selectively a row matrix which corresponds to Ks generated by the same subordinate rule when a conversion matrix and integers constituting an arithmetic sequence are linearly independent mutually. CONSTITUTION:As for conversion matrix T and (m) integers L1...Lm constituting an arithmetic sequence, (m) columns and (m) rows of TL<1>-TL<m> are linearly independent of one another, a matrix of (m) rows by (m) columns is defined as MK in correction. Row matrix MKd which corresponds to Ks generated by the same subordinate rule from row matrixes MK-MKm is stored in a storage device previously and then read selectively. Then, received vectors W1<m>-Wn<m>, and p<m> and Q<m> which correspond to information column vectors W1-Wn and correcting vectors P and Q are used to calculate partial syndromes S1 and S2. Then, selectively read row matrix Kd and syndromes S1 and S2 are processed by an arithmetic circuit, so that (m)-dimensional vectors will be outputted by being converted into a matrix of (m) rows by (m) columns. |
