The seat, designed for a chair provided with a back, particularly an office chair, is comprised of an element having the shape of a wooden shell (1) in which the seat (2) and the back form a single piece, the element being folded in the area (4) located between the seat (2) and the back (3). The shell-shaped element has laterally folded-in edges (5 and 6) and notches disposed in these edges in the folding area (4). This seat has a high resistance and is relatively light. |
