PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of the amount of water to be supplied to each mold by a method in which cooling water pipes are independently connected to each of the steam chambers of paired molds for foam molding, from which the whole amount of water in each water storage tank is supplied as one shot of pressure cooling water to the steam chambers. CONSTITUTION:When a mold 10 for core and a mold 20 for cavity are in a cooling process, electromagnet valves 37 and 47 for pressure cooling water are opened and the whole amount of pressure cooling water in water storage tanks 32 and 42 is sprayed as one shot of cooling water from the spray nozzles 31 and 41 of cooling water pipes 30 and 40 inside the steam chambers 12 and 22 of the molds 10 and 20 in order to cool both the molds 10 and 20. After the completion of water drain process following the cooling process, the electromagnetic valves 37 and 47 on the pressure cooling water side are closed, the electromagnetic valves 35 and 45 for air are opened, the electromagnetic valves 34 and 44 for water are opened again to supply as much an amount of water as one shot to the water storage tanks 32 and 42 until it reaches a level meter. |
