PURPOSE:To make easier the adjustment of the amount of water to be supplied to each mold by a method in which cooling water pipes are independently connected to each of the steam chambers of paired molds for foaming, through which water in a water storage tank is supplied as a cooling water to the steam chambers in order to cool the molds. CONSTITUTION:When a mold 10 for core and a mold 20 for cavity are in a cooling process, electromagnetic valves 37 and 47 are opened and compressed cooling water from water storage tanks 31 and 41 is injected from spray nozzles 31 and 41 in order to cool both the molds 10 and 20. After the completion of the cooling process, the electromagnetic valves 37 and 47 on the compressed cooling water side are closed, electromagnetic valves 35 and 45 for air are opened, and electromagnetic valves 34 and 44 for water are opened to again supply water to the water storage tanks 32 and 42. Operations, e.g., the supply of water, the supply and discharge of air, the supply of the compressed cooling water, etc., are all controlled automatically by a control board 50. |
