PURPOSE:To exactly supply a proper amount of pressure cooling water to each mold by independently connecting cooling water pipes provided with a mechanism capable of controlling not only the level of water but also the amount of air for compression to the steam chambers of paired molds for foam molding. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water pipes 30 and 40 are independently connected to the steam chambers 12 and 22 of paired molds for foam molding, consisting of a mold 10 for core and a mold 20 for cavity. For the cooling water pipes 30 and 40, water storage tanks 32 and 42 are disposed between a water supply source and the steam chambers 12 and 22 respectively. The water stroage tanks 32 and 42 are provided with level meters 33 and 43 to detect the level of water in the respective tanks. Water passing through electromagnetic valves 34 and 44 for water is supplied until it it reaches the level meters. Compressed air is supplied through electromagnetic valves 35 and 45 for air from compressed air supply pipes 70 and 80 to the water storage tanks, whereby water is supplied in as much an amount as one shot to each steam chamber. |
