PURPOSE:To facilitate identification of the number of sheet accommodated after normal feeding transport in such a way that when abnormal transport of paper sheet from the feeding area to the holding space is detected, the number of paper sheet which have been held in the holding space so far is indicated. CONSTITUTION:If abnormality is produced at the eighteenth duplicating paper in the duplicator, after the take-out of the twentieth duplicating paper is detected by the first counting circuit 42, during continuous duplication, an abnormality detecting circuit 43 is worked, and a control circuit 41 actuates a paper jam indicator 37. Then, when an operator removes the jammed paper and closes a release switch 44 the number of copy (17) already counted by the second counting circuit 46 and held in the holding space is indicated on a copy number indicator 36 and at the same time paper jam indicator 37 goes off. This facilitates identification of the number of copy at the time of resuming the duplication. |
