PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet head with a good vertical property inexpensively on a large scale in a simple process by a method wherein a wire material having a diameter equal to diameter of a necessary nozzle is embedded in a pourable resin and, after the aforementioned resin is cured, the aforementioned wire material is withdrawn. CONSTITUTION:An inserting pore directed horizontally against a fine tungsten wire 21 is provided to both walls of a box 20 made of Teflon and the aforementioned box 20 is attached to a jig 22. Then, the aforementioned wire 21 is horizontally pulled through the aforementioned inserting pore by a springy hook 23 and a clamp 24 provided to said jig 22. Subsequently, a Teflon mold releasing agent is coated on a surface of the aforementioned wire 21 and, thereafter, an epoxy resin 26 is poured in the box 20 and, after cured for about two hr., a screw 25 is loosen to detach the aforementioned wire 21 and said wire is withdrawn from the cured resin 26. Thereafter, when said cured resin is cut at a position 28 to form a desired outer configuration and the resulting cut resin is thinly cut at a position 29 by a diamond cutter, a nozzle plate 8 equipped with an injection port 12 is obtained. |
