<p>The device for cutting the strong material comprises a fixed blade (8) and a mobile blade (7). The mobile blade (7) is driven by the piston of a hydraulic cylinder (6) to rotate about a pivot (3) so as to undergo an upward pendulum-like cutting movement. A mobile apron (2) fixed to a support system (4) on the cutting side and on the side opposite the piston (6) of one or more cylinders (5) is positioned in a manner such as to be able to support and accompany the metal sheets during the cutting and, by means of the piston of the cylinder (5), cause them to move downward on the side opposite the cutting, in a manner such as to make the cut sheets slide without falling.
