PURPOSE:To selectively display plural scale displays by forming prescribed scale plates on the front and back of a transparent base material, and providing a light source in the back part thereof. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum vapor-deposited film 14 is formed on the back surface of a transparent base material 12, and the 1st scale 16 is printed on the front surface of the material 12 by, for example, yellow-color ink. The 2nd scale 18 is printed on the film 14 to, for example, a red color, by transmittable ink and the remaining ground part is printed to, for example, a black color, by nontransmittable ink 20. If such display plate 10 is viewed from above, external light L1 is totally reflected by the film 14 and therefore only the 1st scale 16 is observed. If a lamp 23 provided on the back side of the scale plate 10 is lighted, only the 2nd scale 18 is observed. In case when the scale 16 is of a dark color such as black color, the scales on the front and back are displayed simultaneously. In this way, the plural scales are selectively displayed. |
