PURPOSE:To stabilize a film by providing a film stabilizing member in a spool chamber in continuation to film guides in a camera driving the film with a spool. CONSTITUTION:In a camera which drives a film 4 with a spool 3 in order to decrease the transverse size of the camera, a film plane stabilizing member 6 is provided near the inlet part of a spool chamber continuous to the film guide rails formed on the top and bottom of an aperture 1', particularly in the part where a relief frilm a radius R is formed. The member 6 supports only the top and bottom end parts of the film, thereby improving the stability of the film plane on the guide rails. This result is due to increased distance l2 from the aperture end part up to the spool chamber as compared to the case in which the film is directly wound. |
