The trouser hanger which is designed to tension and hold the trousers is made from a steel wire holder which is bent to form a large central hook with two arms whose free ends are bent at right angles up towards the hook to form fulcrums for the forked holders which are to hold the garment. These forked holders are preferably locked on the fulcrums in the axial direction by attaching globular locks to the ends which protrude from the forks. The forked holders may be provided with two serrated-edged arms and a C-shaped base member which has two flanges of different lengths where one allows the fork to be simply placed in the ends of the trouser legs. The two serrated-edges arms can be connected together by a solid base member.
