PURPOSE:To reduce the number of amplitude comparators without decreasing bearing accuracy by sampling the amplitude comparison outputs of the received detection outputs between adjacent and every other channel stationary antenna elements, according to the receiving detection of the elements. CONSTITUTION:The received detection outputs A-C of stationary antenna elements 1-4 are processed by an amplitude comparator 17 constituted of differential amplifiers and comparators without setting threshold voltage, etc., and the amplitude comparison ouputs between the adjacent and every other channel elements 1-4 are generated. These comparison output are sampled via a signal detecting circuit 18 detecting the reception of the elements 1-4, a detection pulse generating circuit 19 and a sampling circuit 20 only at the receiving of the elements 1-4, resulting in the narrowed bearing blind zone. In addition, the sensitivity has virtually no relation to input level differeces, and the bearing is determined stably. Since the comparison outputs for all the combinations are not required, part of the amplifying comparators is reduced without decreasing bearing accuracy. |
