PURPOSE:To send a stereoscopic signal by one system and to obtain an ordinary screen by providing a subtraction circuit for forming the difference signal of a right and left visual video signals, a transmitting/receiving circuit for transmitting/receiving the difference signal and either one of the right and the left visual video signals and an addition circuit thereof. CONSTITUTION:The left visual video signal 101 from a left visual camera 1 is inputted to a mixer 9 and a subtracter 5, the right visual video signal 102 from a right visual camera 2 is inputted to the subtracter 5, herein, they are subtracted to obtain the difference signal 400, further the difference signal 401 thinned out at every one field in a switch circuit 6 and it is inputted to an expandor 7. The time base of the difference signal 401 is twice as long as before in the time expandor 7, and a band compression signal 402 in which a frequency band is compressed to 1/2 is formed, modulated to have a modulated signal 500 and it is outputted to the mixer 9. A composite video signal 600 is sent to a receiving side by the transmission path of one system. In the receiving side, a demodulated stereoscopic picture is obtained by the addition circuit. |
