PURPOSE:To obtain the synthesized images of two originals by a means which indicates the required part and unrequired part of originals, a buffer memory which stores the instructed parts through addressing the same, and a means which reads out said memory through changing places. CONSTITUTION:The 1st original on an original platen 4 is read with a solid-state image forming element 24, and is converted to electric signals which are written onto a photosensitive drum 3 by a laser 30. If the part desired to be erased is assigned, the latent image is erased by exposing the entire surface with the laser. The toner image formed on the drum surface is transferred onto the paper 19 spread on a transfer drum 22. Next, the 2nd original is placed on the platen 4, and the unrequired parts are erased by the laser beam in the same manner and only the toner image of the required part is formed, and is again transferred on the paper 19 having been previously copied with the required part of the 1st original, whereby the synthesized images are obtained. |
