<p>A device is for use with a standard gas cutting torch, whereby circular plates can be successfully trepanned from a flat sheet. The method includes an attachment for supporting a pivot point at the end of the torch away from the cutting head, the attachment being movable along the torch body, allowing the torch cutting head to rotate around the pivot point. Pref. the cutting is mounted on support rods, between the pivot point. And a support guide, which can be a wheel. The cutting head, being rotatable with respect to the support rods, allows the operator to cut a complete circular disc from a stationary position. Both embodiments allow height positioning of the cutting head.</p> |
