A noble composite reverse osmosis membrane having excellent resistance to oxidation and organic deposits is provided, and a manufacturing method of the composite reverse osmosis membrane is provided. A reverse osmosis membrane comprises: (a) a porous substrate; and (b) a polyamide layer formed on the substrate, wherein the polyamide layer is modified by a preparation such that the membrane retains at least 85% of salt rejection after passing through a water-soluble NaClO solution with the concentration of about 2,000 to 30,000 ppm for about one hour. A reverse osmosis membrane comprises: (a) a porous substrate; and (b) a polyamide layer formed on the substrate, wherein the polyamide layer is modified by persulfate. The persulfate is inorganic persulfate selected from alkali metal persulfate and ammonium persulfate. The inorganic persulfate is present in the form of 0.5 to 10 wt.% of a water-soluble potassium persulfate solution.
