RS 232C SERIAL COMMUNICATION TYPE MOTION MODULE CONTROLLER & PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER

A system having motion modules and a PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) which use the RS232C communication scheme is provided to make the motion modules receive instructions in real time from the PLC while the motion modules are being driven, and to reduce wrong operations. A system comprises a PLC(100), plural motion modules(200) and a user IO device. The PLC(100) processes an instruction or a condition received from a user and transfers the processed result to the user according to pre-programmed content, and inputs or outputs signals from or to peripherals on the basis of the RS232C serial communication scheme. The motion module(200) includes a serial communication unit, a data IO unit and a motor driver controller. The serial communication unit inputs or outputs data with the PLC(100) via an RS232C serial communication line(300). The data IO unit is connected to the serial communication unit. The motor driver controller is connected to the data IO unit. The user IO device, connected to the PLC(100), receives information needed for operation, transfers the received information to the PLC(100) and displays the information outputted by the PLC(100).
