PURPOSE:To realize high-efficiency vertical magnetizing recording having superior short-wavelength characteristics by sufficiently securing the hardness and durability of a nonmagnetic good conductor arranged joining with the flank of a main magnetic pole in the running direction of a magnetic recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Main magnetic pole 11 made of a thin magnetic film of high magnetic permeability has its tip part provided facing to the magnetic surface of a magnetic tape, and to the lower flank of main magnetic pole 11 in the tape running direction, flank magnetic member 12 of high magnetic permeability wider than main magnetic pole 11 is adhered except the circumference of its tip part. Atop of member 12, energizing coil 13 is wound in the same body with main magnetic pole 11 and from the tip part flank of main magnetic pole 11 to the flank of member 12, nonmagnetic amorphous alloy 14 providing good conduction is arranged joining with them to a width equal to or a little bit greater than that of main magnetic pole 11. The nonmagnetic amorphous alloy reduces greatly the leakage of magnetic flux from the flank of main magnetic pole 11. |
