摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce an impediment for transfer of a bubble of YIG layer for a hard- bubble suppression provided on the surface of a magnetic bubble holding layer, by thinning the hard-bubble suppression layer to about 100-300Angstrom in thickness. CONSTITUTION:A bubble element chip employing an in-surface magnetic-field driving system consists of substrate 1, bubble holding layer 2, hard-bubble suppressive YIG layer 3, spacer 4 made of a nonmagnetic material, such as SiO2 and Al2O3, and permally pattern transfer path 6 for bubble transferring. Bubble 5 moves along transfer path 6 through the magnetic mutual operation between the bubble and transfer path, but is influenced by hard-bubble suppression YIG layer 3. The graph shows driving magnetic field Hr depends on the semi-stationary transfer margin when the film thickness of YIG layer 3 is varied; graph curves 11, 12, 13 and 14 correspond to film thickness of 100, 420, 815, and 1,120Angstrom of the YIG layer and thinner the film thickness, wider the transfer margin to secure up to a low driving magnetic field.
