PURPOSE:To enable a user to operate and control a load from a remote place such as his or her visiting place, by selectively operating a load with an audible ringing signal of a telephone set as a communication device. CONSTITUTION:Sound receiver 1 receives a sound, such as the audible ringing signal of a telephone set, generated by a communication device intermittently at constant intervals and then generates an electric signal. Discriminating device 18 discriminates between a normal sound and noise by the period of the electric signal from device 1 and generates a detection pulse corresponding to the electric signal of the normal sound. Counting device 26 counts detection pulses from device 18 in a constant period. Controller 34 controls the operation of a load preset according to the count value of device 26. Consequently, the malfunction of the load due to noise is prevented. |
