PURPOSE:To improve workability and to increase rigidity by forming a diaphragm for a speaker by using an Li compound. CONSTITUTION:A material for a speaker diaphragm should be small in density (lightweight), large in Young's modulus (large mechanical strength), superior in workability, rigid in shape, and suitable to mass-production. For this purpose, an Li compound such as Li3Si4 and Li3N, which is superior in workability and productivity to usual Be, less in density than Al and Ti and greater in the rigidity of an equal-area and equal-weight diaphragm is used to form the diaphragm. Consequently, the diaphragm can be obtained which is superior in workability, great in rigidity and suitable to mass-production. |
