PURPOSE:To operate control of density ratio of each color image only with a knob on a panel, by rendering applied discharge voltage or discharge current in at least one of corona chargers for reversely charging photoconductive layers variable. CONSTITUTION:Photoreceptor 1 is formed like a drum, rotatable in the arrow direction, and provided with chargers 2, 3, filter 4, optical exposure system 5, developing devices 6, 7, etc. arranged around its circumference. In such a structure, high-voltage power supply 15 for applying discharge voltage to charger 3 for secondary charging is provided with external variable resistance R. A resistance value of resistance R can be changed only by operation of a knob on an operation panel, permitting density ratio of each color image in copying to be continuously changed. |
