摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the rigidity of a diaphragm and to improve its durability by using lithium or its compound as a base and by forming on both its sides thin films by using a material whose Young's modulus is specific. CONSTITUTION:As for a composite diaphragm, the Young's modulus of a substance layered on its surface is influenced by that as a complex as compared with the Young's modulus of the center base. In comparison with an equal-weight diaphragm, using a less-density material increases its thickness by the base and also increases the rigidity. For this purpose, a material such as Be, B and SiC, whose Young's modulus is >=1.0X10<12> dyn/cm<2> is layered on both surfaces of the base by using as the base lithium or its compound (e.g. lithium carbide LiC2). Lithium Li or Li compound is less in density than Al and Ti and when it is formed into a plate, the rigidity can remarkably be increased. Further, chemically stable metallic layers are formed on both surfaces of Li, so that the durability can be improved.
