PURPOSE:To decrease the waste due to the double transmission of a large quantity of dump data when the system operation is stopped, by using an automatic recovery transfer part for faults and an initial program leader (IPL) (re-rise) memory part which stores the discrimination between an automatic IPL and a normal IPL. CONSTITUTION:If a system stop fault occurs during an on-line job, an automatic recovery transfer part 10 collects the snap dump data 11a and the memory dump data 11b from a main memory and stores them in a dump file for transfer to an IPL. Then the IPL, the set-up of an on-line are secured like a normal rise after the transfer to the IPL. An automatic recovery information editing part 14 works after the on-line is set up. The part 14 restarts a normal on-line job after editing an automatic recovery information message. Then said message is sent to an automatic recovery information analyzing part 16 and analyzed there. |
