PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a damping fluid proof sealing by a method wherein a proper constant interference is given at the pinching flange formed along the outer periphery of the moving wall consisted of the annular rubber elastic body forming the subdivision wall of a variable volume chamber. CONSTITUTION:Below an inner ring 3, which closes the variable volume chamber having the annular rubber elastic body 1 as the moving wall, is provided a pouch 7 made with a rubber layer 4 into an integral body and within the inner ring 3 is provided a partition plate 9 with an orifice 8. The orifice 8 communicatively divides the variable volume chamber into a main chamber B1 and an auxiliary chamber B2 filled with noncompressible fluid C. The leakage of the fluid C is prevented by forming a stepped part 10 by expanding the upper end of an outer ring 2 in which the pinching flange 11 extending at the outer periphery of the elastic body 1 as one body is accepted and caulked together with the outer ring 2 and an upper plate 6, keeping with the constant interference. According to this construction, the leakage from the caulked edge between the outer ring 2 and the upper plate 6 can be evaded. |
