PURPOSE:To edit the character information in various ways, by providing the switch which designates the presence of functional classification code at any part of left or right of the character information of the object to be read-out, and the switch which designates the code to the end or top of the character information. CONSTITUTION:In the external transfer of the character information, the control section 60 edits the character information according to the output of the switches 71, 72 and the function classification code at the top or end of the character code can suitably be corresponded to the end or top of the character information. The switch 71 designates the presence of functional classfication code either left or right of the character information on the object P to be read-out, and it is off when the code is at the left end and on at the right end. Further, the switch 72 designates that the functional classification code of the character information is corresponded to either top or end of the character information in the external transfer of the character information to be read out. Thus, the character information at external transfer can be edited in various ways. |
